Terms and Conditions – Liish Nail Salon

These terms and conditions apply to all treatments, services, and transactions provided by Liish Nail Salon, located at Boterdiep oz 15 in Bedum, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 95424598.

1. General

1.1. By booking an appointment at Liish Nail Salon, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.
1.2. The terms are available at www.liishnailsalon.com and can be viewed in the salon.
1.3. Liish Nail Salon reserves the right to amend these terms at any time.

 

2. Salon Services

2.1. Liish Nail Salon performs all treatments with the utmost care, following hygiene and quality standards, and based on up-to-date industry knowledge.
2.2. Clients will be informed in advance about any changes to the treatment and any associated costs. Adjustments will only be carried out after the client’s approval.

 

3. Nail Art & Custom Designs

3.1. Liish Nail Salon aims to execute nail art and custom designs as accurately as possible according to the client's wishes. Minor variations in color, pattern, or detail may occur, as these are handmade and creative services.
3.2. Clients must clearly state their desired nail art when booking. If not communicated in advance, there may not be enough time for complex designs.
3.3. The feasibility, costs, and any modifications will be discussed beforehand. Additional costs for complex designs will only be charged after client approval.
3.4. Nail art is a handcrafted service. Variations from reference images do not qualify for refunds or free corrections, unless there is a clear error by the nail technician.

 

4. Appointments and Cancellations

4.1. Appointments can be made by phone, WhatsApp, online, or in the salon.
4.2. Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
4.3. Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows will be charged the full treatment price.
4.4. If a client is more than 10 minutes late, the appointment may be cancelled and the full amount will still be charged.

 

5. Payments

5.1. Payment must be made immediately after the treatment, by cash or card.
5.2. All prices include VAT and are listed on the website and in the salon.
5.3. Liish Nail Salon reserves the right to change prices.
5.4. Price changes will be clearly announced on the website and in the salon at least 30 days before they take effect.
5.5. Promotional offers are valid for the stated period or while supplies last.

 

6. Treatments and Responsibility

6.1. We operate according to strict hygiene standards and use professional products.
6.2. Results may vary per person. Liish Nail Salon is not responsible for the condition of the client’s natural nails after treatment.
6.3. Clients are responsible for disclosing any allergies, medical conditions, or medication use that may affect the treatment.
6.4. If a complaint is made within 7 days of the treatment, the client may contact us for a free correction—provided the complaint is valid.

 

7. Warranty and Complaints

7.1. We offer a 7-day warranty on artificial nails and gel polish, provided proper nail care is followed.
7.2. The warranty is void in cases of:

  • Use of harsh cleaning products without gloves

  • Nail biting, picking, or pulling at the nails

  • Excessive force or impact

  • Treatments performed by third parties

  • Use of products not recommended by the nail technician

  • Medication use or pregnancy

  • Ignoring aftercare advice
    7.3. Complaints must be reported within 48 hours after the treatment via info@liishnailsalon.com.
    7.4. Treatments for clients under 18 are only performed with written parental or guardian consent.
    7.5. Clients under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the appointment.

 

8. Liability

8.1. Liish Nail Salon is not liable for:

  • Allergic reactions to products

  • Nail damage after treatment

  • Loss or damage of personal belongings in the salon
    8.2. Clients acknowledge that treatments are carried out at their own risk.

 

9. Privacy and Data Protection

9.1. Liish Nail Salon respects client privacy and processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
9.2. Personal data is only used for scheduling and communication, and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

 

10. Force Majeure

10.1. In case of force majeure (e.g. illness, pandemics, power outages, or other unforeseen circumstances), Liish Nail Salon reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments without compensation.

 

11. Applicable Law

11.1. Dutch law applies to these terms and conditions.
